A very special Shabbat service honored Ira Keltz as he stepped down from being TBI’s president after serving 5 years. Ira received special blessing from Rabbi Jan, and Melody & Joel performed a beautiful song in his honor. In addition to receiving some special gifts from the temple, Ira was recognized by Laconia Mayor Andrew Hosmer with a proclamation for Ira Keltz Appreciation Day, recognizing him for his tenure at TBI as well as for all which he has done in the Laconia community. A beautiful Kiddush lunch was enjoyed by TBI members and friends.

On the next day after the Shabbat honoring Ira,  the gavel was passed from Ira to the incoming 5 members of the executive committee, Stu Needleman, Reva Tankle, Karen Lukeman, Barbara Katz, and Carl Crosley,
