Shabbat Afternoon Adult Ed

“The Israel We Love– Family and Heritage.”
Saturday/Shabbat afternoon, August 19, 4:00 p.m.
We will gather at the home of Karen and Joe Lukeman in Bristol overlooking Newfound Lake. They will share their recent trip to Israel through their stories and photos. Karen will talk about her family’s exodus from Syria, to Israel, and eventually to the United States, a fascinating legacy of the Mizrahi Jewish experience. We appreciate their opening their home for this informal gathering.
We encourage congregants and friends who are interested in exploring a TBI group trip to Israel in September of 2024 to attend and learn more about this opportunity to return to Israel or visit for the first time.
Please bring a lawn chair and a sun hat. Refreshments provided (You are also welcome to bring your own homemade goodies). Rain or shine.
