Temple B'nai Israel, Laconia Congregational Church, and The Unitarian Universalist Society of Laconia, in partnership with the Laconia Human Relations Committee and the Endowment for Health, presented a powerful Community Holocaust Remembrance Program. The evening featured a moving staged reading of Janet Langhart Cohen's one-act play, Anne & Emmett, skillfully directed by TBI's Debbi Finkelstein. The incredible cast brought to life an imagined conversation between Anne Frank, her father Otto, Emmett Till, his mother Mamie, and Till's murderer, alongside a narrator. This standing-room-only event, preceded by a warm soup buffet and community fellowship, was a resounding success. Bravo to all involved!
