There is a great deal of excitement in the TBI kitchen these days as preparations for the New Hampshire Jewish Food Festival have begun!  With the ordering period just around the corner, June 1 to 30, teams of mavens (experts), our very own Bubbies and Zaydies (grandmothers and grandfathers) have begun the process to create the much loved traditional Jewish foods that the Lakes Region has come to expect.  For 2022, our 25th year, several of our recipes that were handed down from generation to generation have been refreshed, refined, and reimagined in order to bring you, our customer, the most satisfying experience yet.  From our popular matzah ball soup to our best-selling rugelach, nothing has been overlooked.

We are excited to welcome the Laconia Village Bakery, to the Jewish Food Festival family.  This local bakery will be the exclusive supplier of rye bread, available both seeded and unseeded for the first time ever, baked fresh just for the festival.  You will want to order several loaves so you don’t run out when it’s time to make sandwiches with the corned beef, pastrami, and tongue from Evan’s NY Style Deli, which is hand-carried by our Food Festival delivery team to be sliced onsite for individual orders as well as for the popular Custom Deli Sandwich Picnic Pack.  Each Picnic Pack will also include a fresh loaf of rye bread, coleslaw, pickles, deli mustard, and rugelach.

New this year are two middle eastern offerings, Halva, a sweet middle eastern treat available in three flavors, vanilla, marble, and pistachio as well as homemade Israeli salad, a mix of finely chopped tomatoes, cucumbers, and onions in a lemon dressing.  Serve it as a side dish with our delicious brisket with gravy, accompanied by a latke, or a potato knish.

Are you hungry yet?  Mark your calendar to visit the website ordering menu beginning on June 1st.  Orders will be available for pickup at the temple on court street on July 22, 23, or 24, by appointment.  You will find a new easy scheduling option at checkout.
