TBI hosted its second annual Interfaith Model Seder on Saturday, March 29th, fostering a powerful display of community unity and shared understanding. Despite challenging weather conditions, the event brought together TBI members and non-Jewish neighbors, offering participants a unique opportunity to experience the rich traditions of Passover as an interfaith dialogue. “Passover is a time of remembrance, reflection, and celebration of freedom, and we were thrilled to share this experience with our wider community.” Said Rabbi Jan Katz of Temple B’nai Israel.
Jews around the world will celebrate Passover beginning with the first Seder on Saturday evening, April 12 to retell the story of the exodus of the children of Israel from slavery in Egypt. The observance of Passover continues through the evening of Sunday, April 20.
