Amidst a world overshadowed by hate and violence, a glimmer of hope pierces through the darkness. The photograph above captures the poignant offering left outside the entrance of Temple B’nai Israel. Amidst the petals lies a solitary red rose, gifted by the St. Joseph Parish Community of Belmont, accompanied by a heartfelt note that reads, ‘Thinking of you. You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.’ A tender bouquet of blue and white flowers, arrived with an anonymous message of compassion, affirming, ‘I have been feeling so sad every day since the assault. I pray each and every night for you all. I feel grief and pain for you. I pray also for peace and love for you.’
We are truly blessed to reside within a community brimming with empathy and kindness. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to our neighbors and friends who have extended their unwavering support.
