Kindness & Caring Committee

Community means being there for each other in times of need, providing Chesed, or acts of loving-kindness.  Chesed is a core value in Judaism that emphasizes going beyond what is required and performing acts of kindness willingly and wholeheartedly.  The TBI Kindness & Caring Committee helps others and provides support for our members during times of illness or adversity.  Committee members provide meals, transportation, calls, and visits to help ease the road when the need arises. Helping people is a mitzvah!  Helping others during trying times is a two-way street. Simply put, it’s good to do good for others!

If you know someone who is in need or if you would like to be part of our Kindness & Caring Committee please email Jane Bogursky, chair of the committee.
