Welcome to Temple B’nai Israel!
Reform Congregation Serving the Lakes Region
Temple B’nai Israel is the heart of Jewish activity in central New Hampshire
We May Be the Family You Just Haven’t Met Yet!
The roots of Temple B’nai Israel go back over 100 years in Laconia. We are a small but vibrant Reform congregation, with our members’ beliefs and traditions ranging from traditional conservatism to modern versions of Reform practice.
At TBI, you will find a friendly, warm, spiritual community ideal for forming meaningful friendships. Whether you are Jewish by birth or Jewish by choice, join us in prayer, study, celebrations, and social activities, as well as at our New Hampshire Jewish Food Festival and We Care concerts.
Temple B’nai Israel offers its members the opportunity to “not only be Jewish but to do Jewish” through our focus on Tikkun Olam (repairing the world with acts of loving-kindness). You will find many opportunities to engage with your TBI family in support of organizations and nonprofit agencies that provide services to those in our community who are in need.
